Faith Initiatives & Outreach
Many practitioners of medicine in the western world treat the body in a separate manner from the spirit while relegating nourishment of the spirit exclusively to places of worship in absence of treating the body, creating an artificial boundary between care for the body and care for the soul.
As an advocate for spiritual and physical wholeness and the healing powers of the Divine, Dr. Mensah believes in an approach to medicine that recognizes and respects the seamless integration of body and spirit, and that care should be given to both at once. This approach enhances spiritual vigor as it promotes complete, holistic wellness.
To this end, Dr. Mensah founded two non-profit, international advocacy organizations registered in the United States and his birthplace of Ghana – the Holy Spirit Revival & Evangelist Crusade Ministries and the Holy Spirit University & Theological Studies International, Inc. – with which he is actively engaged and through which he offers many educational resources and teachings. In addition to helping people of faith nourish and achieve their spiritual and holistic goals, these organizations administer scholarships to practitioners desiring to pursue educational tracks in theology.
HOLY SPIRIT REVIVAL & EVANGELISTIC CRUSADE MINISTRIES
The Holy Spirit Revival & Evangelistic Crusade Ministries are comprised of members who subscribe to the Baptist faith within Protestant Christianity. Baptism is a Christian belief system internationally-practiced by a very diverse group of followers. Patrons of this form of Christianity believe in salvation through faith, scripture as the rule, and autonomy from state institutions concerning education, among other tenets.
